Our client is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in test automation, including strong hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
This role requires deep technical capability in building scalable automation solutions and integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Robot Framework (Python-based)
- Develop reusable libraries and custom keywords in Python
- Create and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and API testing
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Configure automated test execution as part of build and deployment workflows
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and improve test stability
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile environments
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in QA automation
- Strong hands-on development experience with Robot Framework
- Proficiency in Python scripting and framework customization
- Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices
- Experience with API automation and REST services
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker or containerized test execution
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience implementing parallel execution and advanced reporting
