**One of our clients seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer specialized in Azure DevOps and OpenShift Container Platform to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance testing strategies for complex software applications across cloud environments. Your expertise will ensure our systems operate efficiently under load, delivering seamless user experiences. Duties
- Develop comprehensive performance testing plans tailored to cloud-based applications utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines and OpenShift Container Platform.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner Cloud, Neo Load, JMeter.
- Analyze system behavior using data analysis skills and identify bottlenecks by monitoring metrics from MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and other databases.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance testing into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Utilize knowledge of computer networking, REST APIs, and operating systems such as Windows and Linux to troubleshoot issues during testing phases.
- Document test results thoroughly, prepare detailed reports on system performance metrics, and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
Skills
Proficiency in automation tools including LoadRunner, Neo Cloud, JMeter etc.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript.
Expertise in database management systems like MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle (PL/SQL), JDBC connectivity.
Knowledge of DevOps practices including Git (GitHub, GitLab), Jenkins, Azure DevOps pipelines.
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift Container Platform and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), RESTful API testing, MVC architecture, XML/JSON data formats.
Strong analysis skills to interpret performance data accurately; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
Solid understanding of computer networking concepts to troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues effectively.
